Setup

Once your mattress arrives setup is quick and easy. All you have to do is take it out of the box and remove the protective plastic layers. Next the vacuum sealed mattress will unroll and fully expand.

When I first saw the discount price of $499.95 for the Twin mattress, I knew this is what I needed. I've been using a conventional foam mattress for years now and it was beginning to show it's age, wasn't supportive or comfortable any more.

I checked out a local Sleep County Canada store 100 miles south of me to see what they carried. The "Tempurpedic" memory foam mattress feels exactly the same as the bargain I got from memoryfoamdepot.ca. Their price was over $ 2000. for the twin size. I also looked into a Sleep Number bed and it was over $ 1700. Too rich for me.

I looked at a few more Canadian online stores, but all were more expensive than the on I purchased from memoryfoamdepot.ca. Rich was always there for any questions that I had, received quick email replies from him.

I had purchased a box spring from a local furniture store at a good price, I was using the size specified online of Twin Size: 39" x 75" x 10" to purchase it. I wanted to be able to set up the mattress as soon as I received it. However, ran into a snag, the mattress shipped was 39" X 80" X 10" so it drooped over the far end. The delivery guy arrived at 7:00am in the morning and he helped me haul it into the bedroom. I had 2 hours before work so got busy.

Called the local furniture store and they were good enough to send me the proper box spring length. Another note on the web page "We recommend airing out your mattress for a period of 2-4 days due to the "New Memory Foam Smell". When I removed all the plastic wrapping, I had fans set up if needed, but there was no smell at all.

The mattress is packaged in a zippered velour cover. It took a couple of nights to get used to it, but it is so comfortable now. When I lay down, I don't feel any pressure points at all. I have laid down on a Serta and Tempurpedic mattresses to try them out, and personally, I don't feel any differences between the three choices. So go ahead, take the leap, it will be your best night of sleep yet. It will, of course take a few nights to get used to a new mattress, but that applies to any new mattress.
